Pest Control Technician

About This Position

Liberty Pest Management is seeking a skilled and dedicated Exterminator to join our team in Tampa Bay. The ideal candidate will have experience in pest control, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work independently.

Liberty Pest Management provides expert structural pest control services for homes and businesses throughout the Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough areas. We specialize in identifying and eliminating pests, insects, and rodents from residential and commercial properties.

Position Overview This position involves managing a monthly service route, diagnosing pest issues, and ensuring effective, timely treatment. Our technicians must have a solid understanding of the pests common to the area and the appropriate treatment methods. This role reports to the General Manager.

Compensation

• $40,000 - $60,000 per year
• Commission pay
• Bonus pay

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for signs of pests and insects
• Determine appropriate treatments for pest issues
• Apply pest control methods, including pesticides, traps, and bait
• Efficiently manage monthly service routes
• Report work progress and client communications to the office
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment

Requirements

• Pest control experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capable of working independently and efficiently in the field
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Strong customer service and communication skills
